The chair of the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry, the Rt Hon the Lord Hardie issued on 5th April 2018 the following Notice.
“Following receipt on 15 March 2018 of notice from Peter Dickens, one of the Special Managers (without personal liability) of Carillion Utility Services Limited (in liquidation) (“Carillion”) that Carillion will have to withdraw from the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry, I specify for the purposes of rule 4(3) of the Inquiries (Scotland) Rules 2007 that Carillion ceases with effect from the date of this notice to be a core participant”.
