Opening Statements (issued on 28 October 2015)

This confirms that no opening statements will be made by Inquiry counsel or by, or on behalf of, core participants during the course of the Edinburgh Tram Inquiry.

Award for Travel and Subsistence Expenses (issued on 26 February 2015)

This sets out how individuals can be reimbursed for relevant travel and subsistence incurred in attending the Inquiry. The application form and the Inquiry’s summary of the Scottish Government’s travel and subsistence rates can be found below.

Award of Compensation for Loss of Time (issued on 26 February 2015)

This sets out how individuals can be reimbursed for loss of time when attending the Inquiry. The form for submitting an application for an award of compensation for loss of time can be found below.

Applications for legal representation at public expense (issued on 21st January 2015).

This provides individuals, who do not have the necessary financial means, with a facility to apply for an award for legal representation at public expense if they are requested to participate in the Inquiry. The form for submitting an application for legal representation at public expense can be found below.

Production of documents to the Inquiry (issued on 21st January 2015).

This provides guidance on the production of documents to the Inquiry following its conversion to statutory status. Inquiry Procedure Direction No 2 applies to any request for production of documents made after the date of this Direction.
